Oppo F31 Series to Launch in India: Expected Specifications & Pricing

The smartphone giant, Oppo has confirmed the launch of its F31 series in India on September 15, introducing a new lineup under its popular F-Series. This established series is rumored to include three new models — Oppo F31 5G, Oppo F31 Pro 5G, and Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G.

The company is teasing the smartphones as “Durable Champion” in the mid-range segment. The upcoming smartphones are expected to highlight ‘durability’ as their key selling point, alongside Oppo’s usual mix of style and performance.

Oppo has officially confirmed that the Oppo F31 series will launch in India on September 15 at 12pm IST.

  • Positioned as a mid-range lineup, it will succeed the Oppo F29 series, which debuted in March this year.
  • The announcement was made via a post on X (formerly Twitter), setting the stage for Oppo’s next big entry in the Indian smartphone market.
  • Oppo also revealed the F31 series design in new gold and deep blue colours, with a textured rear panel and a circular camera module.

Smartphone Pricing

Pricing leaks suggest that the Oppo F31 5G could start at under INR 20,000, making it more affordable than the F29, which launched at INR 23,999 for the base variant.

Meanwhile, the Oppo F31 Pro 5G is expected to come in under INR 30,000, and the top-end Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G could be priced below INR 35,000. Notably, this would be the first time Oppo is introducing a ‘Pro Plus’ model in the F-series lineup.

However, Oppo is yet to reveal the smartphone’s official storage capacity variants and actual prices.

Product Specifications

In terms of features, durability appears to be a key focus.

  • The Oppo F31 series is rumored to debut with triple IP ratings, IP66, IP68, and IP69, for dust and water resistance.
  • The F31 5G range is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, while F31 Pro will likely retain the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor.
  • The ultimate model – F31 Pro Plus could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.
  • All models have been designed to feature a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, along with a 32MP selfie shooter on the front.
  • Another standout upgrade is the inclusion of a massive 7000mAh battery, which could set the series apart in the mid-range category and offer a long-lasting battery life to the users.

Apart from these features, we expect Oppo to reveal more features about the Oppo F31 series ahead of the much awaited and grand September 15 launch.

Colour Variants:

Design-wise, Oppo seems to be giving each model a unique look.

  • The Oppo F31 5G may come with a square camera module in blue, green, and red colour options.
  • The Oppo F31 Pro 5G could sport a squircle (square + circle)-shaped rear camera module with gold and grey finishes.
  • The top-end Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G is expected to feature a circular rear camera unit and come in blue, pink, and white colours.

The smartphone will be available for sale post the launch on major offline retail stores and online on Flipkart, Amazon and on Oppo’s official website OPPO F31 Series.
