POCO F8 Ultra, F8 Pro Set for Global Launch

POCO appears to be preparing for the global launch of its next-generation flagship smartphones — the POCO F8 Ultra and POCO F8 Pro.

According to fresh leaks and certification listings, both high-end devices could debut in select international markets very soon, potentially marking one of the brand’s biggest global releases in recent months.

The upcoming models are expected to succeed the POCO F7 and F7 Ultra, which were introduced globally in March 2025.
Initial reports suggest that both the POCO F8 Ultra and F8 Pro have been spotted on several official certification websites, hinting at an imminent launch.
The F8 Ultra appeared on Singapore’s IMDA database under model number 25102PCBE, while the F8 Pro was listed as 2510DPC44G.
Additionally, Thailand’s NBTC certification has confirmed the POCO F8 Ultra for sale in the country, suggesting that it could launch in Southeast Asia first.

Interestingly, the alleged reports from the GSM Arena indicate that the POCO F8 Ultra might be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Pro or K90 Pro Max, which debuted in October. The Redmi K90 Pro lineup featured Bose-tuned speakers and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, one of the most powerful chipsets available for Android smartphones.

If the alleged leaks are found to be accurate, the POCO F8 Ultra will share many of these high-end specifications.

It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with a massive 70000 mAh battery that supports 100 W fast charging.
The device is also rumored to sport a 1.5K or 2K 120 Hz LTPO OLED display, offering fluid visuals and improved battery efficiency.
In terms of camera capabilities, the POCO F8 Ultra is tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup, each sensor offering 50 megapixels.
The primary camera will reportedly support Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharper, more stable shots and videos.
Other expected highlights include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an IP69 rating, making it highly resistant to both dust and water — a rare feature even in flagship phones.

Meanwhile, for the other variant – the POCO F8 Pro is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

It is coupled with an Octa-Core CPU clocked at 3.3 GHz.
The Pro model could pack a 6000 mAh battery with support for 90 W fast charging, ensuring all-day performance and quick top-ups.
The information on its pricing indicates that the POCO F8 Pro may retail around INR 44,990/- in India, while the POCO F8 Ultra could be priced near INR 56,990/-.

With the certification listings for both models now public, it’s only a matter of time before POCO officially announces launch dates. If the leaked specifications hold true, the POCO F8 Ultra and F8 Pro could offer serious competition in the flagship smartphone segment — combining cutting-edge performance, robust design, and aggressive pricing, staying true to POCO’s ‘flagship killer’ reputation.
